Privacy and cookies

Crabnet uses necessary browser storage to provide the service. Optional product analytics only start after you consent and help us understand visits, feature adoption, funnels, errors, and where users abandon a workflow.

Necessary storage

Crabnet may store essential session and interface preferences required for authentication, security, and the features you request. This storage is not used for advertising.

What we collect

Page views, device and browser metadata, coarse location, clicks, and named product events such as creating a workspace or adding a source. Logged-in activity may be linked to an internal Crabnet identifier.

What we do not collect

Analytics events must not contain passwords, access tokens, API keys, source contents, search queries, prompts, or email addresses. All form inputs and private console text are masked in session recordings.

Provider and retention

Optional product analytics are processed by PostHog in its European cloud region. Crabnet also uses Vercel's cookie-free, anonymized web analytics for basic traffic measurement. Retention follows the active provider plans.

Your choice

You can reject optional analytics without losing product functionality. To change a previous choice, select Cookie settings in the site footer.
